Make Your Own Way

Today is Saturday and it is a chill day for us. On this type of day I usually don’t do much and just go with the flow. Whether I wake up late or early doesn’t matter because after that my routine is similar, so I prefer to go as time passes and not put much thought into it.
Things have been like this for a long time and now if I look back, I regret how many days I wasted by just going with the flow and not giving any effort on doing things. But as I am saying that I regret, that doesn’t change my habit. I am sure that the next Saturday, I am going to act like the same.
But what would happen if I got up early today and went for a walk for an hour? I could see nature, and people, and my body would be ready with some light exercise like walking. After returning home, I would already feel good and with this good mood, I could make an interesting breakfast for my family. Even though I made one, both me and my body were not contented with that.
Then I could read a book from my reading list instead of scrolling through the social media pages, or even do some creative works like painting, sewing, or writing. These types of things would make my outlook on life more joyous.
In the afternoon, instead of watching Netflix, I could easily stroll for the second time and buy some foods I enjoy. But I didn’t do that. Both were possibilities, and I chose the second which led me to nothing.
Life will pass whether you want it or not. It is in your hands to make it more meaningful and memorable. Otherwise, if the heap of regret becomes high, you will lose yourself eventually. Choose a good life by making a good decision every moment. Make your life worthy to live.
