Be With Yourself

In our lives, we have many people who are bound to us, and our lives revolve around them. In every other thought, they occupy our minds. They are our parents, our siblings, our lovers, our kids, our close friends, our pets, or anyone else.
Even when we think about ourselves, their thoughts are also included in it. For example, if we want to buy a dress, we not only think about ourselves; we also think about our partners, or with whom we are going to wear that dress, where to go wearing that dress, what to experience wearing it, and what other people will think of us in that dress. Thoughts like these are there to consider, and these are quite obvious. We live in a society, and every time we take a step, we need to consider many things.
But if we change any of these things that I mentioned, then our perspective about the decision (here buying a dress) we are about to make will be affected. Suppose you are buying a dress to go with your lover to a cozy, intimate party, then it will be something that is completely different from the dress you will wear while meeting your grandparents.
Just like that, as the situation changes, our thoughts and perspectives change! But one thing that doesn’t change is ourselves — the human mind-brain combo that makes us, us. No matter what change we face in the outer world, if we stick with ourselves even at rock bottom, we can save ourselves.
Here I have taken an example of buying a dress, but this is exactly similar to the emotions we feel regarding outside chaos. Every person and their thought process is different from another, and no matter how hard we try to understand their thought process, there will be some situations where things won’t align with us.
We then start to wonder what went wrong and if the other person is toxic, then their behavior itself will make us victims of the things that we didn’t even do. We found ourselves in miseries, and infuriating emotions engulfed us. And based on that sudden sparkling emotions we do something malicious for us.
So I want to say that, first of all when any of our emotions are overpowering we tend to do things that usually are not logical. So while a blast of anger, sadness, love, and kindness comes to blow our senses, wait for some time before taking any step. Let the emotion wind down a little bit.
Think and analyze the situation thoroughly by yourself and try to find any faults of yours that you need to improve. Think of the incidents one by one chronologically, and consider the other person’s thoughts and deeds. Find where the exact gap is, and if you think that there is nothing you can do at that moment and you have done your best possible thing, even though the situation has become worse, just leave it there. Time heals things; the other person will eventually realize if it’s their fault.
And even if he doesn’t, then based on how important that person is in your life and how grave the incident was, make things up by yourself or just move on. Because life is too short to dwell on the same thing, and your heart is big enough to forgive the deed.
In any way choose peace with yourself, never hate yourself, because, in the end, it’s you who’s gonna stay with you forever.
Love yourself, accept yourself, improvise yourself!
